I like Blackhat a lot, but Mann making director's cuts only make his films worse, not better.

I am back from Sundance and am going to bed for the first time in 6 nights. I will rejoin civilization (ie. the internet) tomorrow!
Oh Stephen… Those are called cataracts. :-(
Hey guys! Sundance is amazing, and I will be writing a full report after I get back. Suffice to say, there are quite a few films to look out for this year.
Well I'm off to Sundance! It's time for farty boner corpses, Jane Austen ladies, and two killer musical mermaids that just won't quit. And a lot of other shit. I'll report in soon!
It's okay. He was unfortunately one of the worst parts of Barney Miller (not to say that I hated him or his performance or anything) that the show quickly outgrew. But the man was funny. And serious. And all that jazz.
THANKS FOR DIGIFREAKING MY VERY TOUCHING POST I AM WRITING.
Yesssssssss.
She's saying that the people bought tickets to two films, but then the first film started way later than the posted time, making them have to choose between finishing the farting corpse movie, or trying the other one. It's not that complicated.
Okay, ticket sales have been finalized. Here is the schedule of films I'm seeing at Sundance 2016.
Racist.
I'm late and I'm on my phone, so I don't want to scroll down to find it, but Happy Birthday Sir David. You miraculous son of a bitch.
You don't have to publicize every time I'm late to responding to your texts.
Nick: "You still don't get it, do you?"
Crow: "Kevin Spacey was Keyser Soze!"
JK Robertson is easily one of the greatest cinematic villains in the history of film.
So disappointed. And I love that the film does remember this monumental news story that it brings it back up when they go back to the past.
The movie itself is just so… energetically dumb that I kind of love it even without the riffing (though the riffing makes it much more bearable). It's at once both a layered time-travel film, which is not to say it's "complex," but it does try to use time-travel for more than just going back in time to another era for…
The "Time Chasers" episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 is not just great because of the movie (which is adorably awful), but also because it marks the first time I've truly enjoyed the skits, as Mike's cousin Eddie sits in for a stretch, which was really inspired and hilarious. Particularly when he punches Crow…
It's about goddamn time Barcelona got here. My stupid WB cardboard DVD case is on its last leg. And having just re-watched it in preparation for Love & Friendship this month, the transfer could definitely use some work (besides the HD upgrade itself).
