I re-watched Mission: Impossible II last night, and that is a fucking great time. I don't care what anybody else says.

Snowmania and I made it through 13 movies this past weekend, which is our highest count yet. (We also drank less beer, collectively speaking, so maybe that had something to do with it?).
Well, that is now the second Kickstarter campaign I've ever backed.
Mulholland Dr. is finally coming to Criterion!!!
Yeah, that's fantastic.
One day, Occams… One day.
You joke, but that is me, yup.
I think it is awful, and awesome, at the same time.
Hey that guy's four favorite films are amazing (and I haven't seen Early Summer yet… :( )
Starship Troopers for me too! (followed by Black Book and also I think Hollow Man is underrated, because it might be the first time he succeeded at making a bad film… still be so enjoyable.)
I am for all his movies. For better or for worse. (And I am for Showgirls, emphatically. But it's not my favorite of his.)
Favorite films (in order):
10. A Separation
9. Mulholland Dr.
8. In the Loop
7. For All Mankind
6. The Apartment
5. Eyes Wide Shut
4. Close-up
3. Inside Llewyn Davis
2. Rushmore
1. Magnolia
Went and saw Magic Mike XXL again today (with a full theater, randomly) and it's still my favorite film released this year.
Since it's been awhile, I figure I can self-promote Film Tank. So some recent episodes include:
How good is Che? I've loved everything Soderbergh has done, but I typically don't like biographical films…
My Criterion haul this sale (and dear god, please stop me):
-Beauty and the Beast
-La Cienaga
-The Complete Jacques Tati
-Odd Man Out
-Make Way for Tomorrow
-The Fisher King
-The Thin Blue Line
-Che
-Safe
-Watership Down
Dammit. Never mind. I thought they had their whole current roster on there. They suck.
On their app.
