Happs Births, Quirks!
Everything in this first 20 should be seen:
You're a good man, Todd VanDerWerff. May you have the happiest of holidays this season.
This is a wonderful piece. I have not actually seen this film, but I see that it's on Netflix Instant so I will be watching it this weekend probably. Thank you for getting this project off to a great start!
Since I don't know if you saw my post yesterday, you're posting your Advent Calendar piece today, right?
"#1 was the only reasonable choice."
Oh, I agree. Just didn't think anybody else did. I will definitely go back and grab the old advent calendar entries.
I'm a bad person and stopped posting there once it became clear (I thought, at least) that nobody goes on that site. The good news is, however, that I might go back and post the rest of them there this week, since we jumped ship from that board right after December, so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to find those…
Please see my comment above about picking a date for the Advent Calendar.
Hey guys, I am finally done with my first semester of grad school, which is why I've been so quiet as of late. Here's a quick update of the Advent Calendar though, since it starts TOMORROW:
I personally have been uncomfortable with it since the very beginning. One of the first sub-headlines I read was "We've read all the leaked documents, here's what you want to know…" I get that people are gonna read and talk, but the way it's been covered has been weirdly repulsive.
Nobody's mentioned Scrubs? For shame, you guys. For shame.
This is scarily accurate.
This only makes me want to see this film more.
That's okay. Talking was never our best activity.
SBT…
make it later in the night, like 9 or 10, and I can make it. If you're into that sort of thing.
Let it go.
Yeah, the premiere certainly left some to be desired (unlike Smith's debut), but it seems like it really hits a stride after a few episodes.
