Yeah I thought this was a bit harsh. I quite enjoyed it, wasn't stellar, but certainly better than other new shows I've seen lately. A lot of origin stuff has already been taken care of, so we'll have to see how the show settles in now.

The book series was awesome, but it really does not lend itself to a TV series. No idea how they will sell the multitude of insane monsters and weird abstract shit that happens, and this isn't HBO so there won't be any of the nudity, sex, or violence. Basically, it won't be Lucifer at all.

This was an unbelievably bad episode. I don't think I've cringed more in 43 minutes than in watching this episode.

The restaurant scene was where it really kicked off, I hope we get more of that kind of stuff.
