This post was great. I really needed a laugh and I admit that this one succeeded.

I don’t like the “millennial” label. I hate it. But I want to step back and offer this kid a small piece of advice; he would probably be working at wal-mart if it wasn’t for this company that he decided to aim his angst at.

You know perfectly well that Starcraft and Melee are completely different games on completely different systems by -completely- different companies.

starcraft is a heavily established PC game. theyre in completely different leagues. its not unheard of but its extremely rare.

Blizzard does this stuff. Literally no one else does. They’re the exception, not the rule.

HBox is an excellent player, but this is so fucking stupid. Nintendo and the Smash community have little to gain and everything to lose if Nintendo starts fucking around in that realm. Whose example should they follow? Capcom’s?

But Melee is a console game tied to a console that is long dead.

So since it came out that 70% of the people who watch eSports don’t play the games they watch, what is in it for the companies any more to support this stuff? If it isn’t affecting their bottom line, why bother? I doubt Nintendo is loosing much sleep over his hissy fit.

Nintendo is making a Splatoon 2 and Arms championship in the E3. And since 2015, Nintendo is making tourney in the america, asia and europe. It’s not like they’re not making this

Glad I wasn’t that guy in the comments, but, my god, is he really asking for support on a 16 years old videogame? While sort of attacking said company? Melee “esports” scene is truly the worst. Talk about being stuck in the past.

Is he talking about Melee!!? If so he can eat a dick. They are not going to update a 15 year old game. Either play the newest one or get the fuck out.
