The G6 design was fantastic but sadly the interior was a let down compared to the Accord and Mazda6 of the time. The drive was also pretty blah esp compared to the Mazda6 which felt like a sports car. 

I remember seeing that render of the ute in Motor Trend in 2005-2006. I was floored. That’s when GM had SO many performance cars. I was convinced this would become a real car but then 2008 and the crisis came up...

People are idiots. This was a great car...who cares if it’s a Holden etc. Just we glad we got it. There was nothing affordable at the time that had the specs or looks this car had.

Lol exactly. The Kappa platform was a huge deal in the 2006-era. I still can’t decide to this day if I preferred the look of the Saturn Sky or this. Either way, between the Solstice GXP and the Sky Redline, I would have been very happy but sadly I was a university-going poor student at the time.
