shorteroh is right. It harms Ford tremendously because a large part of their plan to get rid of cars is to make their SUVs electrified/efficient. With this even that incentive goes away..
I love how Trumpshits like you equate “liberty” with “polluting yourself”. Fucking idiots.
Exactly. And it’s happened before! I don’t understand how people can forget that. Look at how many new names GM had to introduce in just the last few years as fuel prices went up, the most important being the Cruze. Focus was/is an established nameplate. It’s now up there with Corolla and Civic. And yet Ford is…
You make excellent points and your numbers are bang on. The only issue me and a lot of others have with those numbers is this: what happens when things suddenly change? It has happened before. Several times. And then Ford will have to go back to the drawing board and work hard to reintroduce the Fusion/Focii from…
Shut your stupid fucking mouth. Fucking rightwing shit.
Nice! I don’t think people realize just how groundbreaking that Mazda3 was. The Protege5 was always a good car but the looks and features of the first-gen 3, coupled with the handling and price was astonishing.
When? It’s already going up. I’m regretting buying my GS 350 because it takes premium. Should have stuck to me regular gas-drinking Accord.
Cars like the current-gen Corvette, new Silverado, Regal GS, CT-6 V-sport etc are shit?
If this had been a GM product: OMG horrible, overdesigned, pathetic, tacky, failure
Definitely!! I will put money down the day we get a proper, dedicated sports coupe from Mazda again. I don’t even care if it’s just 230hp or something. Mazda can make anything handle like a dream...my aunt’s 2002 626 which had 125hp moved like a sports car and the 2005 6 “hatch” she got after that had 160hp and that…
You have a Mazdaspeed3? Luuuuccckkkyyyy you. Lol. Ahhh how I wish Mazda would make ‘Speed and RX vehicles again (not rotary but even regular engines will do). Right now it’s a bunch of CUVs. Only the MX-5 and the new turbo-4 6 are exciting in their lineup as compared to the awesome lineup they had in the 2005-06…
I can’t remember exactly what it was but there was a problem with the fuse box or something that our mechanic couldn’t fix so I had to take it that one time to the nearby GM dealer.
Ive heard a lot of people praise 90s Hondas. I was living in India in the 90s and we only had one Suzuki and one Fiat for sale there then lol. Missed out on a lot of great 90s Hondas!
Really? I thought the 2006-era Accord was really nice inside. The Aura, while really beautiful outside, had a very cheap interior and as did its brother, the Pontiac G6 (which also was beautiful on the outside).
The new Prius is just too ugly. The preceding gen was more graceful imho.
Oh ya I forgot about the XR-S. True the XB was there too. But hey I’m guessing you could always get a better deal on any Dodge esp back then lol. And then you have the “domestics” crowd who won’t touch Japanese. Don’t look at me, I didn’t even try the Dodge. I looked at the new Civic, decided the funky dash wasn’t for…
In Canada we did. The “Sport” was the hatchback and GT was the top trim. it went something, GS and then GT. I forget the first one. The GT had all the fixins. LED taillights, rain sensing wipers, heated front leather seats...stuff that only big money Bimmers had at the time haha
Ya. A gray Camry interior at that time wasn’t all that much better. At least this had wood! I sat in a 2016 Camry XSE V6 and I climbed out astonished people buy Camrys. It had plastic that I haven’t seen outside Glad boxes. Maybe worse.
To be fair in 2005 there wasn’t much that was significantly better. Except for the Mazda3 of course. But I’m guessing this could be had for cheap/with cheaper financing etc. The Civic was also all new with the big electronic tach that year but it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Corolla was a plastic sandwich box.
