The Pro and One X are definitely worth the money if you have a nice 4K HDR TV. If not, no need for them. It’s like 1080p GPUs vs 4K GPUs in the PC world. I have a 1080p monitor so I have never felt the need to go beyond my RX 480. The Pro and One X are definitely worth the extra coin if you have a 4K TV. 

The Pro (and the One X) are well worth the money. 

I’d say Motorsport...it’s not as arcadey as some make it out to be. But it’s fantastic on the Stadia and a thrill to be able to play a game with all the graphical bells and whistles on (think rain tracks with 16 cars on screen) “running” on a 7yr old laptop like mine. Love it. 

And yet it’s actually good. Have you even tried it yourself?

Thanks for this article!!! I’m absolutely loving Stadia yet people won’t listen. Also, I HIGHLY recommend Project CARS 1 and Dirt Rally 1. (They both have sequels but you can get the first versions for both for dirt cheap and they were both fantastic). 

At some point half the people in the original series were either Brits or Aussies and all pretending to have southern accents. It was comical and distracting. No idea why.

And yet it’s actually fantastic when you play it. I love being able to play the same games on laptops that are ancient as fuck. And then switch to my 55" 4K TV. Let the tech develop...let’s see what happens. I don’t understand all this doom and gloom. 

Because neither my Pro nor my One X can do Destiny 2 at 60fps 4K HDR like my Stadia is doing.

Why not just build a regular Half-Life and then add a VR aspect to it like racing games and others do? Fuck this crap. We finally get a HL and it’s some arms flailing VR pile of gimped-gameplay shit.
