I was actually taken aback at how boring it was. It really is bizarre that the game hasn’t been scrapped. Apparently the entire studio is in trouble if they don’t launch. The Singaporian government has been aiding in development costs, so there’s something weird going on with all of it. 

Skull & Bones feels like it should have been a spiritual successor to Black Flag. Why they decided to go with a live service naval combat multiplayer game instead of just making an open-world pirate action RPG will always baffle me.

What? Her point is that you can be self righteous about your unshakable morals and impeccable ethics as long as you are rich? It’s totally okay to take money from an “obvious front for a shady gambling scheme” if you are a small streamer who needs the money. In that case morals out the window, ethics be damned.

She literally said that herself. She acknowledged “living your morals” is a privilege, and she doesn’t begrudge small streamers getting their bag. But xQc, Amo, and her are all multimillionaires. All of them can afford to not take the money of an obvious front for a shady gambling scheme. That’s exactly her point.

I have my dignity.  But I also have bills, and I’ll be damned if my dignity helps out financially.

Everyone has a price. If you offered me $100 million, the things I wouldn’t do could be counted on one hand. However, it’s real easy to say this:

It’s a price for early adopters, but there enough of those (along with enough good will for Apple products) that I suspect this will be successful. There’s no doubt they could build a similar product at a more affordable price point in the future; just look at the iPhone.

Interestingly, I knew I was trans/ nonbinary since I was a kid, and before I even knew those such words existed.
