I had roaches for sure but didn’t notice much weeds. My island is covered in fruit and money trees though so maybe that keeps the weeds down?

I jumped back in last night and one of my neighbors said it’s been 11 months since last time I logged in. Surprisingly my island wasn’t that bad aside from a ton of rocks and shells. Have to admit I missed playing and am looking forward to all the new changes coming!

I think that is why I’m at a loss understanding the appeal. I have never tried to play the server related stuff. I play a ton of games and come from ancient times when pong was mind blowing tech. Trying my hand at Minecraft again this week. Maybe I’ll find the gold.

I love Legos and building stuff. Maybe trying to play it as an actual game is where I miss the gaming gold. I’m a lover of No Mans Sky and play it for the building mechanics. I knew I was starting a fire taking a jab at the game. I’m going to install it and find the love in it.

I’m sorry but I just don’t get the appeal of Minecraft. I’ve tried to play it and it is fun on a basic level but I don’t see why people like it so much aside from the a buildings. The game play is so dull to me. To each his/her/they own I guess. Or maybe I’m just too old.

Switch pro controller really is the best gamepad ever made imho. 

 I agree w/ you here. My gripe about anti-aliasing came from playing on 4k tv. I’m sure it looks great at 1080p.

It’s a fun game and definitely has some depth to it but, man is this thing a straight up copy of smash down to the menus. With no voice work this feels low effort and will be best played on friend filled nostalgia nights.

Tbh same can be said about building a PC. I have one preordered the top tier version and definitely plan on opening her up and adding a larger ssd on the first day. If you don’t know your way around small electronics don’t do it. For the rest of us, have at it!
