No problem! Thanks for looking out. :)

Not to mention he has proven he is entirely willing to put trans women's lives in danger, so it is very important that he doesn't get a platform to speak.

Heads up, it's just "transgender". "Transgendered" is something that gatekeepers and TERFs say to make it sound more like an affliction or illness.

I'm so happy my state, TN, is just so completely befuddled at everything. They're just now trying to do another run at NC's bathroom law, way after they saw how horrible that actually worked out for NC.

All I remember is the goofy "I see you" shit and that it was filled with stock action/adventure movie lines.

No, don't forget the kaiju, that's why I came running!
*tries to desperately catch breath, falls over and passes out*

The worst ones are the ones that have multiple movies on one disc and do that. They usually don't actually have a menu. I didn't need to skip through five other movies just to watch Destroy All Planets.

I'll second that. It's a testament to how much I love the rest of UHF that she doesn't ruin it.

Silk is Asian America? I'm happily surprised to know but I read all of Spider-Verse and didn't pick up on that.

It should surprise no one, but Godzilla and kaiju films in general. (Mostly Japanese ones, Pacific Rim is the only non Japanese one to really carry the key message over.)

That's why people like me exist! ;)

That was from the series simply titled Ultraman, which was quite humorous at times.

To console some recent heartbreak I am delving back into the various Ultraman series. Right now I'm in the middle of Ultraseven. Despite a bit darker tone than the previous series, the original Ultraman, it's still a pretty damn fun show that hits all the right notes for me. The last episode I watched concerned Dan

Pretty much. I like it a little more each time I watch it, it was just not fun and pretty disappointing considering how great the marketing had been. You could tell Edwards' favorite movie is Jaws and I just don't think it was the right approach for what is essentially Gamera: Guardian of the Universe with a coat of

It's odd because a lot of the time, I really like the dubs for Ghibli movies. It may be nostalgia, but I prefer Spirited Away with the dub.

Yeah, I remember them making two music videos for it, the second one hammering that meaning into your head harder than any PSA has ever hammered anything. Still a terrible song.

My biggest takeaway is that 3 Doors Down is somehow still a thing. As much as I hate Toby Keith, I get why he still has traction, but aren't there about roughly a million other later-'90's/early-'00's alternative rock bands that are still going? Why the one that produced one "yeah, that's alright" radio hit and

Eh, to me it's not as distracting as "suddenly Bender is yelling about something" in Princess Mononoke. I think he does a fine job for the one or two times I'll ever watch the dub again.

That would just raise further questions. "I thought this was a Godzilla movie. Where's Godzilla?"

He makes a convincing argument for actually watching the English dubbed version of Macross Plus.
