I'm not even sure if it's classic depression or part of my "undiagnosed mood disorder". I'm also high functioning autistic, possibly have disassociative idendtity disorder and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis last year. (In addition to an unknown chronic fatigue and pain ailment.) I've just been feeling really

I finally discovered the glory of chicken and waffles. Where has this been all my life? Mom, why didn't you tell me?

When I was a kid the dinosaur exhibits were my favorite parts. The gift shop was only "place where I can buy toy dinosaurs after getting to look at the actual dinosaurs."

I'm getting tired of living completely alone. I get that for some people it's an OK thing, but for me it's crushing. I do have a doctor's appointment next week (apparently I haven't been since last August) and I'm going to see if my doctor agrees that a therapy animal would be a good idea. I haven't had a dog since

I saw that header image and couldn't stop laughing. It looks like my uncle (or chubby Scott Ian from Anthrax) decided to cosplay as hipster Fred Durst.

Oh boy, another RuPaul show. Another round of me explaining to people that he's terrible representation and is pretty goddamn offensive.

He called the band to see if he was allowed to use that phrase but James told him it was "for serious copyrighted" and only James could say it.

Tom Servo screaming END! END! is the best lullaby.

I'd say something similar about all the newer rock music our station plays but replace "Pearl Jam" with "Nirvana". A friend and I actually got confused trying to figure which of them was the one with the singer who had a nervous breakdown. (It was actually was both Seether and Puddle of Mudd.)

Spotify does end up getting cited as a problem in a lot of the same discussions. I think it was Taylor Swift who made that big fuss about Spotify not paying artists enough a couple of years ago?

The most petulant one to me is when you go on last.fm and they're one of maybe two or three bands that won't last.fm use any images.

Hulu just doesn't work for me at all. I can stream up to an ad and then it endlessly buffers during the ad (this is without ad block.) Crunchyroll is also a big offender but I can at least joke because their selection of ads is so random and I haven't watched their site since I was catching up on JoJo's Bizarre

I use Spotify but will admit that I wish they would vary the ads up a little bit as most of the ads are just about Spotify premium (even repeatedly having two of the three ads in one break be the same Spotify premium ad.)

They are still getting paid. They are making more money than they would if people were just pirating it or not listening to it.

They should've just asked Matthews. If my ex's stories about working security for his shows are anything to go by, he's extremely generous and nice.

Intentional ASMR doesn't do anything for me, but there a couple LP and stream people who have the correct voice for making me feel calm. Of course my go to for calm and sleep is MST3K.

"Metallica has never come across as particularly sympathetic" is sufficient enough.

Which doesn't make sense because they get money for when their music is played on Youtube.

Or a savior. Without Youtube or free streaming services (and piracy), more people might have actually bought that album and then realized their mistake.

The only time I have ever requested songs is when I was working for my uncle's land surveying company and I regularly requested for the station that we all listened to play Butthole Surfers. My uncle hates "Who Was in My Room Last Night?" and "Pepper" because of me.
