It was still midi on PS1. There are different qualities of midi, but it was midi, nonetheless. You wouldn't be able to fit the music on the discs if it was in another format. MP3 had only been out for 2 years, at the time.

Good. Hopefully the Steam preorders will pick up again. I want my unlocks!

Yes - fully programmed, bouncy, wavy hair, using DirectCompute. The default is clumped up, clay hair, as seen in the commercials.

The 360 and Wii consoles have been using AMD/ATi graphics this whole time. Where's the turnaround? Even when AMD was beating Intel/NVIDIA on performance (which it still does against the latter, for months at a time), they were still second place. If anything, it will secure their business from failing outright.

They're not sponsors, they're partners. Nvidia has a lot, also - especially those that use PhysX. It's in AMD's interest to offer help in optimizing games for their hardware, as they are in second place on CPU and GPU fronts.

It is the hair. Turn it off and watch your framerate jump to 60+. Also, tesselation might make you crash. Those are the only two things I've disabled in the meantime.

Not really a fix, seeing as I crash using tesselation with that driver. TressFX could perform a bit better too. Kinda ridiculous that hair will knock off 20ish fps. GTX 670

It's $100. Backing this for cell phone games, emulators, and a devkit is quite a deal, regardless of what else launches.

between 15 and 90 seconds. hardly something to complain about.

I just checked, as it's been a while since I watched Naruto on Hulu. The entire series, Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, is still free on Hulu, except for the very latest episode of Shippuden. The show is terrible dubbed (BELIEVE IT), so I definitely recommend using the Hulu Plus app with subs.

So like 4 white people tweet the writer to say they're offended? I guess none of them have watched any HAWP episodes because Ash talks like this for the majority of the time...like when she stabs her brother or does something equally violent.

Dev studios change staff all the time. Platinum is no different. The games you listed are PS2-era. Darksiders without Vigil is just a title. Here's what I see from a Platinum-Darksiders: 1) narrower shoulders (seriously, massive pauldrons are badass), 2) a complete loss of any authentic "western" settings (like the

If they want it "on the cheap," then don't expect them to hire many, or for hiring to even be a priority. They want the IP, which they directly referred to. I don't like it. They're gonna redo all the art and stuff, and it just won't be the same. I'd rather Vigil buy their own IP on the cheap and Kickstarter it. They

It's good that Sega got them because, as you said, they also have Creative Assembly. Creative Assembly recently procured the licensing to make Warhammer Fantasy games. And as we all know, Relic makes awesome WH40K games. One would assume Games Workshop would like to continue and extend this relationship with Sega, now

You're the third person to say it, so congrats. I also stated that I thought the series was shaky from game 1, so I don't mind being wrong in one respect.

An honest mistake, but then I didn't even get to Dungeon Siege 2. I bought the first game and then stopped. And of the THQ-published strategy games, I was drawn more toward Company of Heroes than Supreme Commander. I wasn't even that interested in the Kickstarter vid they've made. If they reach their goal, that'd be

My mistake, but like I said I don't really care much about the games GPG made, or the sequels that were spawned from them.

This company has been limping forward since their first game, Dungeon Siege. Turns out when you automate most of the stuff in an action-RPG, it gets boring even more quickly! Dungeon Siege 3, IIRC, made the awful decision of not letting multiplayer friends retain their progress when joining a hosted game. This doesn't
