No, they only remove it from the storefront so nobody else can buy it. Everybody who bought Crysis 2 on Steam still has it in their libraries.

I have more Steam games than you, and wouldn't have them if I thought I was using a shitty service. Steam has the best deals, the largest catalog, and the largest userbase of ANY digital distributor - console or PC. I think we all know who's mad here. You're either a masochist or a troll.
Bethesda/Zenimax already switched to Steamworks with Fallout: New Vegas. There's no reason for them to go back.
I don't think it changes anything. There will probably be a patch to transition the client to the new label, but I don't see a reason to change the functionality. Everything's already linked up with your Xbox account (if you have one).
Steam has achievements. GfWL sucks in comparison.
It's really bad that some hooligans used it as a weapon, but they could've done pretty much the same thing with rocks, paintballs, or any other projectile. Maybe they should cover Mentos & Coke "IEDs" next. Then they can move onto the next basic chemical/pressure reaction stunt, and so on.
The Source Engine has included graphical enhancements in every game released since 2004. This includes increased facial animations of Ep. 1, larger outdoor environments in Ep. 2, destructible rooms in Portal 2, etc. When Portal 2 was being developed, the code for the gel physics had to be rewritten for consoles…
The game's over 3.5 years old. Quit holding out for the consoles to get smart, buy TF2 for whatever computer you're using right now, and get playing.
Not all authenticators use RSA's algorithms. For instance, WoW does not use RSA tokens, and that was reported back when RSA disclosed the hack.
If absolutely nothing else needs to be run after installing the game, like if you bought on GOG, it'd be fine. But if it has its own service/overlay, you'd just doubling up when using Steam. We already had/have issues with GfWL+Steam, and now here comes EA to repeat the same mistake. Adding non-Steam games is not…
The boxed copy will most likely force you to install Origin, like you would Steam.
This will probably fail before ME3 comes out, just like EA Link. Then they'll probably repackage it again sometime later.
Um, Nvidia is already in the PS3 as the RSX (somewhere around a GeForce 7800 or 7900), which is a dedicated GPU that works alongside IBM/Sony's Cell processors. Nvidia also powered the original Xbox with a GeForce 3 GPU that was paired with an Intel CPU.
As long as the game's more stable than the last 3 Gamebryo engine games, I'll be satisfied. That said, the PC versions were always able to be modded into looking better. It was the awful animation that really held back them back.
I had an addon that had better grips (like the newer classic controller), a mount for the remote so it can still be used to aim/select, and a gap to wrap the excess cord. I think bracket connection was just designed to allow standardized mounting to the peripheral. Otherwise we would've had a bunch of third party…
So basically what you're saying is you lack taste in action films or games. Gotcha.
The point is it's not directly lifting from FF anymore. They specifically changed them because of that. I'm not sure what extra/different animations you're expecting out of sprites this size though...
SFIV is on Steam, and it does have GfWL. This isn't a new case. Actually I think the only reason this game has GfWL is because the first one did. If Capcom releases another SF on PC ever, it'd probably just have Steamworks, if anything.
Kotaku posted the old trailer. The sprites have been replaced since release.
Thanks!
