Clean solution or not, you don’t use another companies IP or art. “It helps them learn” is not an excuse. There are free and not free courses in game development that can help with that.

OK, so why not just call it a “Monster Catcher” game and don’t include any IP-infringing art? They’re already adding their own characters and monsters, why not just fill the game with those exclusively?
It makes me think that they are not willing to give up the boost in downloads or sales or whatever that comes from…
His only accomplishment so far has been not trading up for Mitch Trubisky.
This liberal bias is exactly why I canceled my subscription to Deadspin. I just read all the words in the articles and comment sometimes.
Um yeah, they were pretty liberal about spending money on exclusive TV rights to events.
Man, they’re playing with fire on this one. Glad you have a good sense of humor and aren’t delaying their game in retribution.
It really isn’t. It saves so, so, so much time. Because as soon as a game exists for the public, they want information, they want updates, etc. If the game gets cancelled, as plenty of games do, they will want to know why, they will want what went wrong, they want blame, etc. If they don’t know that a game exists: no…
I think people would’ve been significantly happier if it wasn’t a 1 for 1 deal. Larsson is good and a better fit for the team than Hall was given need for D, but that doesn’t mean that Larsson by himself was a good return for Hall.
NAFTA was a good deal back then and still is a good deal today. And there is a lot more to NAFTA than the auto industry.
Does your wife not let you watch TV? You married the wrong person.
If we held a “Punch Brad Marchand in the face for $5" fundraiser, we could cure cancer with the proceeds.
That’s an organization who won’t hire a non-francophone coach. You can imagine how they reacted to having a black player who was at times outspoken and actually showed personality.
And to think that the Canadiens got tired of him, enough to trade him for a (in hockey) much older player.
THATS my new euphemism for vaginas.
Wait...what? I’ve never heard of the sports business being referred to as anything but ridiculously conservative. Who in the world thinks it’s left-wing?
Capitalism is a system which can work provided we don’t go off the Ayn Rand laissez faire cliff...damn too late.
I’ve been assured by online conservatives that ESPN’s declining viewership is not because of cord-cutting, but solely because of the sports network pushing a “far left agenda” and its positive coverage of uppity blacks acting all black all the time, and something to do with the gays too.
For real. This would be like changing a joke about, I don’t know, Hikaru Utada or some other Japanese pop star into a joke about Beyonce (except Hikaru translated to Hilter, or something). It doesn’t make any sense in English if you keep it exactly the same, and changes the original intent.
Thank you! This is not the story of a brave guy who was censored. it’s the story of a low level grunt trying to make decisions above his pay grade and getting pissy when he was told to get back in his lane.
Well, the original developer did call it “KKK Witches”. They just didn’t mean to be making a reference to the KKK so the joke took on a different meaning in the US than it did in Japan.
