Power spikes...even on a surge protector, it turns off...i stay out in the country and for some reason (shoddy setup maybe?) we get power spikes on a monthly basis...on clear sunny days...sometimes when it storms, but mostly 1-2 times a month...i bought a ups after this incident though... :-(
