This is what i meant, if we can get a properly tuned and Made CVT, you can stay at 7000 rpm if thats your peak HP and Tq rpm.

But guys CVT can be better than DCT and manual, but no one makes a proper one, and the ones made are for MPG, its like a catch 22

I think this is a good move, it may push other car makers to make robust CVT options instead of the god awful ones they currently make..
