I felt that the Brotherhood is something I enjoy on the TV show in small doses.

But you’re still at the point where the adaptation was more or less faithful, and the cuts made sense to fit the story into a limited amount of time. Some of their later changes are more baffling.

I don’t dislike the changes so much as I dislike the writing, but I also agree. I was so bummed when I learned the show would pass the book timeline, but the more I watched, the less upset I was. This show shit is bonkers, and nothing like what we’re going to get in the books.

I like the changes as the show and novels have deviated so much from one another its easy to keep them as two serparate things. All this means is the novels will have some surprises waiting for us for the next two decades!
