ETA: I live in a Rust Belt city so there are similarities between the poor white folk in the city and the rural white folk, depending upon which side of the city they live.

Yeah-and I get shit from family for living in the “inner city” but meanwhile all the stabbings and opiod problems are in their outer majority white neighborhood. HEPA filter(s), humidifier, Zyrtec, and fluticasone nasal spray all worked wonders for me. I have a script for the spray but it may also be available otc? I also would take him to a pulmonologist to see if anything like singulair or regular inhaler use would help.
