A friend’s dad has bad asthma and both her and her brother got the asthma plus bad allergies to damn near everything...except almonds, as we recently found out.

As I understand it, male fertility tends to *sharply* decline after a man turns 50 or so—it declines somewhat throughout the 40's, but it really starts to dip after 50.

She loves old famous wealthy people, let’s be real.  Highly doubt she’s ever been interested in a middle class, not famous old guy.

It’s funny, I don’t think of okra as slimy at all. Maybe people are cooking it wrong? Even my boiled okra isn’t slimy. (You have to simmer it for a long time with tomatoes.) Mushrooms cooked well y aren’t any of those offensive textures. And the only soggy tres leches I’ve had are ones where the cake hasn’t been proper…

If I believed their outrage was genuine I’d be glad for the stress to affect their physical health. But it’s not the real kind - it’s a pleasurable performative act because cruelty is what activates their brain’s reward system.

Lastly, BK has nothing to match those potato wedges. Hell, Wendy’s should offer them all day and ditch their fries. They’re that good.

It’s an elote aka Mexican street corn. They’re excellent, but definitely not “new”. And as noted, not featured in the slideshow.

Here’s the thing. Wendy’s toasted croissant buns are far superior to BK’s actual croissants. Because whatever BK is doing leaves them soggy and flaccid every time. I have yet to eat a croissan’wich that wasn’t floppy and sad.

The BKs in this part of the country would have to start paying enough to have enough employees to run the place.  And equipment that works consistently - people forget that corporate can change whatever they want, but ultimately, the franchisees have to step up and run a place that can stay open consistently

Unfortunately, I think you underestimate the ability of racist white guys to lay low and avoid long-term consequences of their actions.  He’ll be back at another law firm within a year, I’d put a dollar on it.
