The thing that pisses me off more than anything are the people whose first contact is to ask me what the lowest I will go is. I usually respond that its full price, I am not doing your bidding for you. If you want a deal, you have to work for it.

Last motorcycle I sold, I was asking $6500 obo, a guy texted me saying he was interested, wanted to come check it out that day, had cash, did I have any other offers, all the normal “this looks like a done deal” stuff.

I know. Im really upset my parents weren’t more wealthy

Is that Steve Aoki?

It is the burden of wealth, youth and beauty.

what’s happening, here ? Looks like a guy with a man bun and a terrible posture. So terrible that the feet aim at the opposite of the torso ... do I need more or less coffee ?

I’m so baffled by all of this that I didn’t even think this through. My main take is how different the american union model is from the european. But yeah, mechanics having to bring their own tools to work, that’s a capitalism wet dream come true right there.

You’re spot on, and I wish it was that way here. Some of the differences in “general practices” of labor treatment are astounding.

No. That is totally wrong. Your cousins nearby convinced you that it’s good, but it’s totally wrong. A worker must only be responsible for the quality of his work, not for the quality of his tools. It’s like that all over the world, North America excepted. You are exploited, and you do not know.

Welcome to America!

That is incredible. I feel sorry for that Austrian dude... I just imagine what he must have told to his wife... Believe me, I’m astonished that you allowed the making of such a terrible work environment.

Yeah, not how it works here. We had an Austrian tech here for awhile who couldn’t believe we have to buy our own tools. We get the $40 a week for life plan with Snap-On or one of the other major tool companies. I’ve got over $60k into my tools over 20 years, and moving a toolbox that weighs as much as a car is a pain

That’s just crazy. Come to work in Europe, and you’ll need to take to work just yourself. We’ve been working this way since 2,000 years, and we did quite good so far. And being paid “per task” may be good for a summer job during high school, but not for a real work to support your family. Being paid “per task” is

I don’t understand... here in Europe, the auto dealers’ mechanics only provide the dealer with their work and expertise. All the tools that they need to use, are supplied by the dealership. And this is mainly true for the specialized extractors that only work with one brand of cars. A mechanic may have let’s say a

Your masters will be thrilled to see the efficacy of their brainwashing in public!

This, of course, is the top notch investigating that I come here for! Well done as always, sir, well done!

Fun Fact: Not only is this cheaper than buying Harley parts at a dealer, but you also get free Gin.

Aren’t those ads usually targeted based on your browsing history?

No, you’ll be paying for that for the rest of your life.
