What Fresh Hell Is This?

I was about to post a spiel agreeing with you, but I couldn’t get past this quote:

I don’t care if it’s Lizzo and her ass or any other topic, I just don’t care to hear what Wendy Williams thinks about anything, ever.

Replying to myself because I’m outside the edit window.

There are celebrities who would get called out on this very website for this very thing. You go sit your ass on a toilet then go sit on the seat there that will never get properly cleaned. I'm not all "think of the children" I'm all "think of the germs".

Wouldn’t most people be asked to leave by security?  Agree with all the comments it’s not a stage or red carpet.  It’s not Lizzo or her ass anyone objects to.

Yeah, that’s not a “dress” that you wear so that no one will talk about it. She was being purposefully extra; she provoked the response she wanted, and then everyone who thinks it’s out of bounds to criticize her got all up in arms when reasonable people pointed out that maybe it’s not totally chill to go bare-assed

Agreed. And I would go so far as to say I really don’t want to see anyone’s ass cheeks in public, with the exception of if you’re wearing a thong at the beach. If that’s your deal, you do you--on your own beach towel. But c’mon folks. I thought we could all agree that going out in public with your ass cheeks hanging

Lizzo was being extra extra, and was (rightfully) called on it. She doesn’t get a pass because she’s big, nor should she get extra criticism, but to say that is a given, these days. And she doesn’t get to try and disingenuous make this about people “shaming” her because of her size. **shrug**

Lizzo needs to understand when something like that is appropriate-like at a beach or an MTV Awards show or at a fashion awards show where people expect to see an exposed rear end. Your examples of other people showing their buns are pointedly not at basketball games. Incidentally, people very much talked about those

My partner is like this. He doesn’t fight. He just waits for me to work through my anger. He listens patiently and supportively. When I’ve expelled my emotions, he says what he thinks and feels calmly. I have a history of abusive relationships, both familial and romantic, so his approach works best for me.

Maybe I’m misinterpreting their expressions but to me they don’t look terrified. They look solemn and resolute, which is reasonable. Imagine if they showed any kind of pleasure in that moment—it would be used against them and the Dems in general in a heartbeat. Neutral is critical to their optics, and as women who’ve

But did anyone else notice that the lawmakers on that stage, which included Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Maxine Waters, looked... terrified? Unenthused?

Honestly, this comes across as the words of somebody who doesn’t live or work in a red or even warm blue district. The reality Nancy Pelosi is familiar with that I genuinely get the sense that most progressives don’t understand is that most of the biggest wins in 2018 were moderate Democrats winning red districts.

Wow. I never thought he’d do anything worse than Radio.

What religion are they supposed to be that forbids vaccines?

Golden Corral's new slogan

“You guys are peeing on me tonight,”

I’m currently sitting in the midst of a mumps outbreak because a bunch of kids didn’t get immunized. If mumps is making the rounds as fast as it is where I am, I can only imagine the outbreak that would happen if measles were to pop up given that these people don’t have their MMR vaccine.  Late teens/early 20s, the

...Wait, did I just learn something about Douglas Adams?

I love Lizzo as much as the next millenial but that outfit was just a big t-shirt with the ass cut out. Maybe I’m not “fashion forward” but it felt dumb for the sake of being dumb and I can’t wrap my head around why walking around in a thong with your exposed ass is in any way comfortable.
