I *heart* Universal Standard so much! Their t shirts are amazing; they’re not tight or boxy but drape really well on me. I have 3 pairs of joggers, and numerous dresses (that I always get compliments on). Get on their email list. They often send out coupon codes or special deals. The warehouse sale boxes are legendary!
I personally love Kiyonna. They do some for Lane Bryant too, but it’s not as good as their own lines. Been wearing them for 20 years now. There’s even one dress, a classic black wrap, that I’ve had for 15 years that I still love and wear.
If you’ve got enough time and money to eat a "healthy" diet, you're going to be much less stressed than someone who doesn't.
For more budget friendly but still very comfortable tights, Snag Tights is amazing. I never knew tights could be comfortable before I got a pair of theirs.
No Modcloth? I bought a gorgeous black velvet dress with art deco beaded spiderwebs there recently, that has been getting a lot of envious looks, and they had a couple numbers in a 1930s roses-and-spiderweb print as well. Most of their offerings are too cutesie for my taste, but their sensibility is solid.
I’ve never really heard of “saving room” for dessert in this context. If someone is saving calories for dessert, they’ll say that. When I think of “saving room” I think of saving physical room in my stomach so I can get more tastiness in. I realize this is not the healthiest thing from a pure nutrition standpoint, and…
So, did they control diets for level of income and time spent able to cook? These are important co-factors; given the information in your article, it is reasonable to draw the conclusion that people who have less stress have more time, energy, and free income to have a more varied diet than people who have more stress…
I’m pretty sure people aren’t skipping an extra helping of green beans or broccoli for dessert
I think you’re really reaching with these comparisons. Netflix didn’t just “fudge” the timeline on the show; they completely faked it, with Christine herself narrating. “A few days” after flatlining and needing an emergency C section, she’s shown swanning around her house with the baby, wearing a mini dress and…
Yea….feeling the take here is a bit off kilter against the whole, all things considered. I get the sour grapes about the thing but HRC read the room really well….she called everything from the bend in Supreme Court to hell, the deplorables were not only what they were but literally emboldened by the shit falling out…
Self indulgent? That’s rich.
I don’t know if I’d say there was a lack of enthusiasm for either candidate; there were plenty of easily-led MAGAts who’d have laid down in front of a train if Donnie Small-Hands told them to.
Imagine how different the country if not the entire world would be today if she had truly ‘inspired’ enough people to offset the deplorables that got Trump into office? We wouldn’t have had an attack on the Capitol and the pandemic wouldn’t have been nearly as bad without The Great Orange One in office, spouting lies…
I got one of those chocolate oranges for Christmas once. Some things should not be combined, and chocolate and oranges are two of those things.
Those people baffle me.
I would have eaten the whole cake if given the chance. Mint and chocolate isn’t a seasonal thing for me, it’s a lifestyle.
Wow. I would be furious.
You, really need to learn to spell, learn the number for the emergency services in the UK and finally maybe open a book on British culture. You speak of running an England, entirely ignoring the fact he is also prime minister of 3 other countries in the UK. The only bit that actually makes much sense in this…
Everything very spot on except...was she just a Portuguese migrant worker for the summer? In Southern Europe, that kind of migration is kinda common, especially to richer, more northern countries during high season.....I always thought she returned home to Portugal and he followed there.
