Oh, sorry, my apologies as that somehow escaped my notice!! Per the mother (if you didn’t see my other post about her being a hairdresser who specializes in whites), it’s about 20% effective on naturally grey or white. So it’ll have a little highlight effect on the whites/grey if you’ve still got natural hair color.

That’s all it is still, plus the little chapel they do these weddings at.  It had all been for sale for less than a million, and this summer was bought by a comedian who named it Gay Hell for a few days for Pride month.

Real grey or white hair doesn't respond to semi perm colors like naturally pigmented and bleached hair does.

Oh for sure, and they are easy to do yourself.  Pretty sure both Malibu and the Clairol professional listed above are available at Sally's.

And a huge dose of internalized shame because of a culture of rugged individualism.

I mean, I nearly loathe Bloomberg.  But having nearly all of the celebrity endorsements, including Queen Bey, didn’t exactly get Hillary Clinton into office.

I knew there was a reason I liked most of the people on that list =)

You’re not wrong. To be perfectly fair, the majority of intersectional progressives ignore this. One can find huge scale activism for race, sexual orientation, women’s rights; but when was the last time you saw huge scale activism over the poor being shafted? Disability proposed cuts? A whisper. Food stamps cut? Alot

Right if covering 600,000 people results in 30k jobs a year, then covering 27 million (current uninsured) will result in 1.35 million jobs a year. And that’s not money that gets sucked out of the economy by a single person who owns a large corporation that pays no taxes and sucks it into his own back account, not

It may be your water. Have any of your stylists given you a Malibu treatment? (my mom is a hairdresser whose clients have been white since the 70s...it’s just what she’s good at, and man her clients hair look like snow, it’s so beautiful.)

Nothing came of this, but my ex-husband tried to claim I threatened to kill him during our divorce. What actually happened, as the farewell I gave him while kicking him out for infidelity, I sarcastically told him to “do me a favor and not buckle your seatbelt, because at this point your life insurance is worth more

lol...Hell isn’t west or central though, it’s still mostly southeastern, especially now that the county it’s in is becoming more and more a suburb of the suburbs of Detroit. Although the exodus from Detroit hasn’t quite reached Hell...

Hell (Michigan) isn’t all that far from me. It’s a great joke, “been to Hell and back” but seriously, the area is really is creepy AF. Not the cute as in cheep, cheesy tourist trap meets goth that is the little town’s vibe. But there’s this weird stretch of dead trees that’s seriously eerie. I’m not sure exactly what

I always thought I’d find a floral vagina beautiful, and it would be, if Paltrow wasn’t standing in the middle of it.

I care not for Miss America pageant, but this essay was simply phenomenal.

Thank you, Esther!!!! Now this is what I like to see in a feminist website in an election year! Most of us here probably already have our preferences down by now, but good coverage of female candidates only strengthens the fight for all women’s rights, imho. Even, dare I say it, Klobuchar. I’d like to see something,

Being a consumer in the community mental health program for my needs, I see mental health certified nurse practitioners for my meds. I had one who was absolutely infuriating as she refused to talk about/consider things she considered physical health. But the thing was, they were intertwined. I have meds that work for

Yep Yep Yep Yep Yep. Medical model is vastly inefficient for mental health care.

Doctors see patients for about 15 minutes, with the ability to nitpick things for extra payment, one example, simply taking vitals raises the billing rate, but that requires a medically trained person doing so. Most psychiatrists also don’t take insurance, same with developmental pediatricians. They just can’t afford
