Usually, yes.

I meant it more as a descriptor more than anything, but yes. My parents were born there.

That's also true. I remember that Black history that I learned in school was very limited. They only did slavery, abolition, MLK, Rosa Parks and then after that they just made it seem like racism was over or something.

Okay, I am a white person - of Italian extraction. But what is it about Martin Luther King day that makes white people so willing to attack and criticize Black people? (See: Martin Luther King would totally oppose Black Lives Matter!) It's like they only know one line from his I Have A Dream Speech that they can twist.

Back in 2004 when he pitched that game against the Yankees with the bloody sock, I had a lot of respect for him.

The year 2016 needs to be run down by a freight train, sliced into a million pieces and roasted in a volcano.

I hope Deadpool 2 starts with Deadpool breaking the fourth wall by explaining the ratings system to the parents who brought their kids to see it.

I know all teams have their share of crappy fans, but I am just speaking from the experience of being a New Yorker and seeing it with my own eyes. Some of the Yankee fans genuinely love the team and love baseball of course, but others just want to continually harp on about the "LOL 27 WORLD SERIES TITLES LOL WE R DA

Last night was actually a really intense game. This series in general has been pretty interesting because from what little I know about baseball, both the Cubs and Cleveland have kind of a reputation for screwing up in big moments.

You have not met terrible baseball fans until you come to New York and meet some of the people who love the Yankees.

Admittedly, I haven't seen SNL much from back in the day when they had guys like Belushi on there. But what I have seen of it (I think most of what I have seen is from the late 90's or early 2000'?) it wasn't as funny as MADtv to me.

Aires Spears and Will Sasso were pretty underrated as impressionists. And Phil LaMarr I was shocked to know was the voice of many of the characters in my favorite childhood shows.

Unpopular opinion but I always thought MADtv was a much funnier sketch comedy show than SNL.

WE WANT DAFOE.

Spider-Man is probably one of the most difficult superheroes to do a musical of without big budget effects. They kept having injuries during the show for a reason.

Everyone is too busy watching My Little Punny.

Most of the DC movies seem like the life has been drained out of them.

To be serious, what Melania Trump did and the right-wing response merely confirms what I've believed for years. Here you have a white immigrant plagiarizing an African-American's speech about hard work and conservatives love it. But if a black or brown immigrant did something like this, they would lose their minds.

Captain America Civil War: Tons of characters in it but everyone gets their moment to shine.

Totally unrelated: When I first heard of the movie Nightcrawler, I thought, "awesome! An
origin movie about Nightcrawler!" only to be disappointed that it was
some Jake Gyllenhaal movie.
