This. I don’t think the intent is bad and this may even be a potential way to deal with some of it, but it is such an engineering-based solution approach to what is a basic sociology-based problem.

I’m being a little bit of a jerk with the picture...so I want to say I absolutely don’t doubt that the tool was made/greenlight in good faith, and I think that people doing their best to try and identify all the unknown biases they have is an admirable goal, but *goddamned* this is the most Silicon Valley-ass solution…

Eh. Morticulturalist (Graveborn/Spore Warden) has A) the better name, B) two classes with bonuses for companions and C) An end of talent tree talent that causes ALL kill skills to activate at the same time (this makes bosses a cakewalk, as the kill skills for Spore Warden and Graveborn are nutty).

Personally, until Kotick is shown the door, I’m not interested in Overwatch 2.  I know the plan is for him to leave when the Microsoft stuff is finalized, but until he’s physically gone I’m not playin’ this.

I fucking hate when the actors or filmmakers trot out stuff like that in interview. Like, STFU. When it comes to hot, sensitive issues like sexuality representation, either confirm a character’s sexuality on screen or swallow your words. These kinds of sound bites always lead to titillating but misleading headlines…

For queerness representation, the CW shows deliver in spades.

My take on the driving bit was that, for me, it was an answer to a question I never asked or would want to: “What does it feel like to use gas and brake pedals with your hands?” All that finger-resistance just to accelerate or stop did not sit well with my brain for some reason.
