Fuck. I can totally see the show going in that direction. Pretty soon too because the guy emphasized 'weeks' way too many times for it to be a coincidence.

Right? This show is breezing through so many plot/character developments and twists that would have taken a normal show a good 5-6 seasons.

id say it alternates between being a procedural and serialized ever 2 or 3 episodes. Jake McDormans comedic style really shines during the more procedural episodes so i find myself almost preferring it to actual plot driving episodes.
