@jesperbc: I sold my Wii 2 years ago. Every now and then I see some game come out on the Wii that makes me go, "Want!" but then 5 other games come out between the PC, PS3 and PSP and makes me forget about the Wii game.

@earle117: Yeah, it's really cool how Valve has let community creativity fuel their own gaming lineup and wallets.

@interkin3tic: You can get Madden 08 for like 2 bucks.

@Goldwings: Yeah, there's definitely a ton of great PC games that fly under the radar. I didn't hear about The Witcher until it had been out for a year.

@earle117: L4D was a mod! It got bought out by Valve at the early stages.

@Goldwings: All said and done for the tower it was:

@earle117: This is all the more reason to jump on the PC bandwagon if you can afford it. The PC prevents publishers from monetizing creativity. They'd rather sell you shitty overpriced map packs than let the community push the game engine to its limits.

For me, sports bundles are the worst deals. The game is only good for a year!

@GasBandit: Nah, Valve doesn't actually come out with that many games. I think their larger contribution is integrating the PC gaming experience onto a cloud-based platform aka Steam.

@RoamAure: I spent less than 1400 bucks on my parts coming in the mail tomorrow.

@evilbob65535: Console gaming feels so sterile compared to PC gaming. Yes, a PC has its hassles but after watching my friend game in 1900x1080 with 8xAA on his 24'' monitor, the console just looks so ugly.

I'm ready! Getting my parts tomorrow:

@Chewblaha: Just be happy you don't have to give up both. Then you'd be in trouble.

@imsh_pl: lol i love your avatar.

@amatecha: That's all we had at my underfunded elementary school haha! Probably a donation from a parent.

@psycoking: The best part about the game was that it saved Tombstones. So you could pass by other people's graves and it'd read, "Here lies AAAAASSSSSSSSDDDDDDDD"

I played this game on that monochrome green colored Apple. Does anybody know what model that was? It had no HDD and read directly from a 5.25'' floppy. This was back in 92-93. Oh those were the days. Then my dad bought a $500 SCSI 2X CD-ROM drive and forever ruined the magical simplicity that was gaming back in the
