Between a low-end pc and my old PSP, I can play about 90% of those games. The Vita really lacks unique content, and Sony hasn't shown much initiative to change that. "Here's Minecraft!" Whoo fucking hoo. "Here's Grim Fandango! but also coming to PS4 and PC..." So you're saying I don't need a Vita still. "PS4 remote

I had to stay up for the last part of this marathon. Going out on a series of some of the most highly acclaimed games of all time just couldn't be missed.

I don't see how Sony can get an 8 when they ignored one of their 2 systems almost entirely. They even went so far as to remove the name Vita from the Vita TV.

It was. People are thinking it was dropped because the Vita tanked outside of Japan and Sony doesn't want to associate new products with the Vita directly.

"... with families who like to play together in a local co-op way."

I got access to the alpha test as well. Can't wait to try it out!

I hadn't meant "unique" in a content sense. "Unique" was to say that Nintendo released more different titles than any other developer in 2013. Other companies appear to release more games, though games like Assassin's Creed or CoD would be counted 5 or 6 times into their released games total due to the number of

"So, why in God's name is Nintendo so slow, so fucking stupid when it comes to software development?"

I saw "Mario Kart Party" and immediately thought there was a missed opportunity for "Mario Karty"

To be fair, she was also old in Skyward Sword. :P

I came here to suggest Golden Sun as well. It's great for beginners! Mostly pretty linear, and clear about where to go in the game. Not too difficult, unless you seek out the optional bosses (I wish there were more...). Has fantastic visuals and pretty good audio. It's still one of my favorite jrpgs.

Right now, Bravely Default. I finished LoZ Skyward Sword over the weekend and will be playing Mario Kart 8 at the end of the month. Anything else will be on a whim.

I got a lot of hate for my criticism of the Vita. Normally, I'd cite the lack of support as a main criticism, and people would bark "Persona 4" and "Borderlands" or "PSP and PS1 games".

Once again, a let down from what was being touted as a killer app for the Vita. Still don't regret selling mine.

I have a PX22 and am quite happy with it. For the PS4, you can simply plug the headset into the controller (skip the dongle) and you'll get both game and chat audio. Same goes for Xbone once you have the Xbone headset adapter. I usually use mine as an output from my TV, as I jump between games and my pc a lot.

Thanks for this news. My Xbone JUST had this happen, then when I stopped to browse for a few minutes, I find the fix here!

To me, this sounds very similar to a lot of the works of Motoi Sakuraba. Kind of a cross between the Golden Sun and Baten Kaitos soundtracks. For reference, Violent Storm from Baten Kaitos.

Another one of my favorite versions of the Gerudo Valley theme. He does a ton of great covers of game music.
