So much re-heated crap in this business - somehow rarely met with _this_level of outrage. Surely, that's entirely coincidential….

Stale jokes in a Hollywood comedy? Bring out the pitchforks!

I wish you were right. I really, really do.

Isn't it pretty to think so…

Sweet summer child….

Yep. That's why the Youtube comments on the new Ghostbuster's trailer are so agreeable and civilized.

The Great Male Renunciation, "a major turning point in the history of clothing in which the men relinquish their claim to adornment and beauty." Sad, really. Unnatural too, if you buy into evo-psych. I don't, but I'm still sad about this.

"Silly, slight, and a nice respite
from the doom and gloom. I think this is sort of how Martin thought
Tyrion’s time with Penny might function," - I don't even know what to say to that.

Unlikely. It's really hard to missread that key-card moment. If it's all just platonic, how could the sister so clearly have ruined the mood? To me, Dan seems like the kind of guy who thinks that everyone with the corresponding sexual orientation will be attracted to him by default, so he's more likely to read too

Kill em all - and dig up the potatoes yourself? Unpractical. Someone has to do the dirty work.

Kill the High Sparrow, and you have got every peasant in the realm scrambling for their pitchfork. Very bad for public relations.

Yeah, Olly seems kinda predestined for that. But I'm still betting on the suicide mission for Thorne. I predict zombieJon will be more ruthless, but still pragmatic.

Olly and Thorne … well, Jon already did the righteous execution with Slynt, so another one of those scenes might feel redundant. If he comes back somewhat wrong, his approach to them might be used to signal that. No clean cut for those two, then. Maybe Ghost gets to eat them, or they get sacrificed to Rhollor.

Fair enough. I think there have been quite a few hints for him feeling guilty though. Remarking how Gene was like a child, the sudden maybe not entirely coincidental re-emergence of the traumatic memory of his first murder during the EST-session - seems like all the killing is slowly getting to him, and visiting the

Can you think of any other possible reason for visiting his grave?

I adore Tilda Swinton, but can I adore her as much as Romy Schneider? Maybe it's time to find out.

Probably!

I hate to say it, because Dan has no redeeming features whatsoever, but I get why Amy's into him. It makes perfect sense, from her point of view. Of course he's not someone you'd want to be romantically associated with in public. But he's got a symmetrical face, and he gets her jokes, and he _already_ knows her.

It also doesn't require any not-shipping.

The Dan/Amy twist was so not contrived, I'd be hard pressed to call it a twist in the first place. Dan's gonna Dan. He couldn't have made a less surprising choice.
