Wow, didn't think I'd see this on my Jalopnik. Saw them in Pennsylvania of all places touring with Converge.

I believe one of the spotted test mules of this car had a noticeable supercharger whine....So is that an LSA or a boosted LT1?

I've stopped going to that city for several reasons, this just adds one more. You local or just visiting at the time?

Dear Mr. Rutledge, would you come to my house and hoon my Riviera for me? It's got a little supercharger and I'll buy the Belgian beer afterwards.

Most probably don't know about this one because most don't frequent older GM forums. But there is a curse that white GM cars (mostly Bonnevilles, but other makes too) will meet an untimely end. See for yourself: https://www.google.com/search?q=bonneville+white+curse

A random deer stole mine from me.

I've never paid MSRP for a car, it's just a suggested starting price.

Awesome story. That BMW guy however is a sad individual.

Yeah, I hate fun too :)

I'm very excited about the next engine. Even a direct injection version of the existing 6.2 would be welcome news. These cars are already very comfortably powered.

Aww.....but nin, stabbing westward and filter were ALL part of me growing up and enjoying angsty-ness. I still like the first two, filter softened too much.

"And what we find is a brilliantly competent vehicle that is more than capable of taking on the BMW M3 and Cadillac CTS-V. "

To outright say a new SS camaro is outperformed by a new mustang gt is a stupid generalization.

I take a vehicle to a prospective shop for a small affordable job. Then based on the quality of the work performed, decide whether to go back for more in depth labor.

I can't afford an FF, but I take days off work sometimes to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I don't condone driving drunk, but the time of day to drink is purely an opinion.

So it set a faster time on (variable) track compared to the Boss 302 that everyone will be comparing to this car? I would say that makes me care. Nice job on Chevy for making something heavier and with less power go faster. Not sure why Jalopnik is spinning it with the angle that it' s a lesser known track.

Small correction:

Man, I'm sorry I missed this.

Ex-highway construction worker here. Pretty spot on, though the salary isn't quite that bad.

That's beautiful.
