The CTS is going to be a bit larger next year, to coincide with the 5 series BMW, this is the smaller 3 series competitor.
I think on a smaller car, somewhere in the 400-range would be plenty......perhaps enough to compete with the M3.

When I was learning to drive my dad took me in his 2wd truck to an empty sam's club parking lot after a big ice storm. Not only did it allow for some good old fashioned father/son hoonage, but it taught me more about what to do in a skid than any driver's ed class.

It's the buyer's responsibility to know what they're getting into....but any dealership that marks up any vehicle is a shitty dealership.
Welcome to 2009, the Cadillac brand is well comparable to both Jaguar and BMW. Some might even argue they are more reliable and cheaper to maintain.

9 times out of 10 if your AC stops blowing cold, it's not because it just needs a recharge. It is a closed system after all...or should be.
Looks nice for a minivan, and the mileage is good. Assuming upkeep isn't bad I'd go $3500-4k on this. Not double that. $9k puts you in a much nicer vehicle than this with similar miles.
