Ever own an Audi? And my STI is a $40k car that makes 250 whp. I rest my case.
It actually did do something—-though it was probably barely noticeable. On your machine it probably adjusted the clock speed on your processor.
It would literally get "comparable" mpg too.
The day top gear ACTUALLY determines what's cool and what isn't would be a sad day in automotive history. Besides....those three can never agree on anything—it's a joke....literally.
Unless the 454 or 502 is an option.
I'll just leave this here. That may or may not be me.
I doubt you actually know what you're talking about. My last car was a 2010 SS. 500 hp with a cam? I couldn't break 380 whp with ported intake/tb, cai, exhaust and tune (no headers).
Also enjoy the fuel economy vs a wrx. Not kidding.
ZL1 might make 560 HP—that MAY compete with the current gt500. Future-proof it is not.
And the Camaro won't have anything to compete with it. I say this with great disdain as I love Chevys.
poor little guy......probably kept up for a few hundred feet or so.....
*flame suit on* You can see my icon and know what I drive, but I'm not sure these cars can justify their ridiculous prices (~40k?) for something with 250 whp and creaks/rattles when you go down the road. It's a great car at a discount, but other than that? crack pipe
Viable concern and I'd be lying if I said I had much first-hand experience. Torque steer is also probably fun to battle. It has been done and will be done again though :) [www.intense-racing.com]
Does that sentence need the word "pretty"? Girls are universally awful and guys are universally horned up.
Epic!
It's not expensive.....I guess it depends on the owner. I'm 26 with no tickets, but a few insurance claims. I think I pay less than 80 a month. To Dusty Duster: you are right about the rest though.....if it's anything like my car. 3400 lbs, 250 whp, and pushing $40k new? These cars are great, but not nearly worth…
When I used to be in the Pontiac scene, there was a grand prix in the 9's FWD and a Bonneville in the 10's if I remember correctly. Wouldn't be surprised if there aren't more/faster now.
Yup, I'll agree to that. I currently have an STI (obviously) but I can't help but think this is a perfect chick car. Leave the 'Merican muscle for the boys sweetie :)
Where I drive (SR 81 in central PA) You almost always have three lanes, in which the left two are inhabited by drivers going 5-10 mph under the posted speed, and the right lane wide open except for the occasional motorist going a bit slow, albeit in the proper lane—this of course occurs every mile or so, so no chance…
