Enzo is just SO BAD in the ring, though. Half the reason he gets thrown around so much is because it's about all he can believably do in there. I haven't seen a guy so much more competent on the mic than in the ring since Vince McMahon himself.

I likened him to Russo when the booking of the last few minutes made no sense. My only issue with the episode was the total lack of cohesion with the Welfare Queen swerve. So in GLOW a match can start any time, because one wrestler says so, even for the chanpionship? I get what the point was, but they could have at…
One of the funniest one-sided conversations on TV in years, to be sure.
"We checked."
"Yeah, it was a whole thing."
"Een Sovyet Russia, hyat hyair ees sign of HONOR!"
Carmen's wrestling attire was just the hat, the cape, and her normal clothes. That was one of the most adorable goddamned things I've ever seen. I love this show so much.
"I LIKE CARMEN! SHE IS MY FRIEND! I LIKE YOU AND HER! SHE LIKES ME AND I LIKE HER! SHE LIKES YOU, I HOOOOPE! I LIKE HER AUTOGRAPH, IT IS A NICE PICTURE! SHE IS NIIIIIIICE!!!"
As she should!
Vince MacClayton over here.
Smooth as a freshly circumcised… uh, never mind
Melrose is the show's most tragic character, by a long shot. You just know she's got some terrible, untold childhood trauma.
That pizza guy really looks like he could be related to Betty Gilpin.
Dude, it's a show about female relationships with wrestling as a backdrop/motif. Come on.
I had a similar reaction, as Rhonda is drop-dead gorgeous.
Also, as a wolf, she probably doesn't care if it smells.
If only Tensai could have cameoed as the third brother. Well, half-brother.
It's amazing what a natural actor she is, considering her wrestling character was basically "giant woman who screams and sneers". Her performance has been the most pleasant of surprises.
You'll be glad to know that Sheila is basically the main focus of episode 5.
I like Melrose. Not what she does, but as a character. You can tell the show is setting up different TYPES of faces/heels, just like in actual wrestling. Ruth is Flair, Debbie is Hogan, Melrose is Piper, etc.
Mundo's greatness cannot be understated.
