I signed up for the demo and it was so half baked i didnt use it. I read some of the FAQ and they tried really hard to explain the new approach the webapp was taking. It all sounded like they took the reasons mint users didn’t want to buy or try ynab and threw it all in the new ynab to generate subscribers or pull

This... exactly. Mint = reactive budgeting which is basically what everything up until ynab has done. There’s a reason that never works. YNAB = much more proactive.

being way more popular doesn’t equal results. Ynab is expensive, mint is free. Free = popular. I’m basing this mostly on r/personalfinance which is an incredibly good resource. I’m not saying success is impossible with mint, hell I’ve seen people get out of debt with nothing more than an excel spreadsheet and iron

Hrm.actually I found that easy to do with ynab. The thing is I really believe you can’t have much success with automated tools like mint because 90 % of budgeting is being aware of where money's going. It’s hard to do that after the fact with just a monthly summary. It’s nice to know where your money went last month

There is no contest here. I’ve heard dozens of times “just got out of crushing personal debt” Or “just made my final student loan payment” Or “just paid off all my credit cards” or “ I’m now a full month ahead in finances” all followed by “thanks ynab. “ I have never heard a single peperson say that about mint. The

I’ll stop save scumming the second half my 85% shots don’t miss. It’s like xcom is powered by sex panther. 65 percent of the time,you hit everytime

This shit happens so often it drives me crazy. They really need to work on the percentage displayed because it’s apparently bs.

as funny as it is to make fun of microsoft, it’s kind of silly and annoying seeing some of these posts. The odds that ALL the tablets suddenly bluescreened is like... very very unlikely, especially considering microsoft tablets are pretty much reference devices. The odds that wifi went down or some network related

If I buy anything over 100 bucks I open it at the register. I learned my lesson after purchasing a 300$ Garmin GPS device, taking it to the car and opening an empty box. I ran back in and it was obvious the best buy employees thought I was full of it. Luckily the manager said this happened a few times and let me get a

I don’t think it’s wise to use this as a benchmark for whether or not a gaming pc is a waste of money considering this is a pretty easy engine in terms of graphics requirements. It’s kind of like getting fries at a fancy restaurant and deeming it “not much better than Friendly’s”

what they’re saying is this isn’t a game where the engine will strain any of the platforms. Especially not a gaming pc;

Your rant is the equivalent of someone complaining about an announcer saying the count is 2 and 2 in a baseball game. This is an editorial not the Wallstreet journal. If you don’t get the lingo look it up. Or don’t don’t But don’t bitch at people using lingo appropriate for the community they’re talking to.

Yeah cringeworthy! Everyone knows your imagination should die the millisecond you hit 18. At that point it’s all mortgages, tax forms, compounding interest, and especially judging others, you know... all that soul sucking adult type stuff. If you’re lucky you live till the ripe old age of 45 go bald, have your first

If pizza is oily all it is is an indication that they used poor quality mozzarella

DC is the result of the stupid legislation that doesn’t allow tall buildings.

Oh yeah? Well Genesis does what Nintendon’t.

I’m actually just surprised there were enough people watching Jimmy Kimmel to notice this video

Google neither passed nor supported dmca laws. Unfortunately whether they want to or not(they dont) they have to comply with the law. The only way to feasibly do this is automation. Direct your anger the right direction.

This looks like an for for people terrible at fpses. How is it even possible to die in this game
