Ooooooh, I was having a bad day until I read this article. I love the “fanfiction” characters, so I’m very excited for a mini-series based around them.

Um, excuse me? I’m sorry, did you seriously put that AMAZING cow chair in a list of “ugliest gaming chairs”? I must now deeply question your sense of good taste and sophistication.
There was going to be. DreamWorks bought the rights in 2002, started production, but then canceled that particular version of the film. Then they sat on the film rights so no one else could make a film until... until Fatal Frame isn’t quite the name in gaming horror it was before.
After watching the entire video, I almost wonder if maybe it did start out as some sort of first/third person game and during development they shifted what it is today. Because some of this is ridiculously detailed in a way that no one would ever see outside of first-person view. It really hit me when there was a zoom…
This is a genuine fear of mine. FFXIV’s players and communities have always seemed very helpful and generous with camaraderie in comparison to other MMO communities, WoW included. I sincerely hope this doesn’t change because of the toxic drama with the WoW community.
I have the same problem that’s currently a ticking time bomb. I recently got a new phone and didn’t know what Google Authenticator doesn’t actually seem to be connected to your Google account, so you can’t just “log in” with your Google account (I blame myself for getting old and suddenly becoming technology dumb). Of…
Agreed. I was gonna come down to the comments to mention this, but you beat me to it. The movie absolutely inspired the costuming choice of the Bloodborne games. There’s no way the direct line between the coat and hat combo can’t be drawn between the two. As a fan of both the movie and the game, I dig it.
Huh, this actually looks fun in a way that the Disney live-action movies haven’t. It’s got some tongue in cheek humor going on, I dig it.
Fast food brands.
You’ve never played a game that was horribly broken but inexplicably enjoyable anyway? I can think of dozens of games like that, most of them published by Spiders. I’ll recommend them til’ I’m blue in the face, even though they’re deeply flawed games.
Probably a member of this species, which is definitely hella extinct:
Same! I always thought you were supposed to kind of... tap it so it gently arced over the net. That’s how we played it in high school gym class, anyway. So watching this video just blew my mind and changed everything I know... about badminton.
Okay, I’ll bite. Please explain this insult to me. I don’t have enough meme exposure to understand it and a quick google search for a meme revealed nothing.
Because it’s the right thing to do.
I’m one of the weirdos with the taskbar on the side and it will definitely be missed. Everything else on the list I either haven’t heard of or never really used.
This... doesn’t look all that foreboding to me. This almost looks like it’s going to be a tongue-in-cheek comedy. “Nope” has a relatively specific use in memes. I wonder if this is going to be in a similar vein to Cabin in the Woods.
This isn’t just a dick move. This is pure psychopathy. He will always be a threat to others, throw away the key.
I’m not sure. I have this massive, overstuffed brown leather executive chair that looks like something a villain would sit in in a James Bond movie. It’s so friggin’ cushy and comfortable I can (and have) fallen asleep in it. It’s easily twice my size, heavy as heck, and just as expensive, but so so so worth it. I’d…
I wasn’t aware of this tool. Thank you for bringing it up! I’m always a bit anxious when it comes to tools that have instructions more complicated than “click install extension,” but this seems worth reading the manual and getting it right.
Agreed. It’s like the old-school days of Atari, where the games had these amazing, fantastic cover art on the boxes and cartridges, but the games themselves were just... muddy piles of pixels. You best believe I was suckered in to many a space themed game based on the box art alone.
