I’m still gonna check it out (because new Constantine series, gimme!), but I, too, am extremely disappointed. Matt Ryan is to Constantine as Mark Hamill is to voicing Joker, or RDJ is to Iron Man. Just can’t envision anyone else in the roles.

And just like that I’m interested in Magic again. That is some seriously adorable artwork and I, too, believe there could be a bit more levity to things. Sign me up.

Frankly, not much? Certainly he created the character and he has a specific way in which he thinks of his own character, but as consumers we also have our opinion of what we think that particular piece of art means. If we think he’s hella wrong, then he’s hella wrong. Full stop.
