Holy crap, I am unreasonably excited for this. Hearing the music in the trailer gave me the tingly, nostalgia shivers. It’ll be perfect for my commute!

I loved Jazzpunk! I went into it knowing nothing about it and thinking it was going to be a bit more... serious, I guess. Was pleasantly surprised when it was just weird as hell. I won’t be able to try out this game though. Discovered way back with LSD: Dream Simulator that certain very specific visual combinations…
That’s actually really, really cool and I’m impressed that SE is on the forefront of this. I wonder if this will improve some of the negative impacts of crunchtime (which probably isn’t a practice going away anytime soon).
Hold up, hold up, hold up. Minamimoto is one of the playable characters? So is this a genuine sequel or a prequal? I have so many questions!
I can’t speak for everyone, but a co-worker of mine played the tabletop Cyberpunk RPG heavily through high school and college and he’s practically beside himself with anticipation. It’s damn near a religious experience for him, I think, considering he’s also a huge Bladerunner fan (he equally lost his shit when the…
I’ve never seen an actual Japanese KFC ad before, so that’s pretty darn cool. It makes me wonder how the taste compares to the American version. If I ever manage to get a vacay in Japan, I’m going to try it.
I am mildly embarrassed to admit that my first “wow” moment in PSVR was the demo disc that came with it. It wasn’t the demos themselves, oh no. In the demo select there’s an orb that changes shape based on which demo you’re currently looking at. For the cage dive demo, the orb turns into water. I spent a ridiculous…
Never before have I ever felt so offended by something that does absolutely no harm to me. So deeply offended on a personal level. Is that a sickly shade of mauve with... what the hell kind of stone is that? Is it even real? It has pink veins? I guess it’s supposed to be marble? Why is it used repeatedly in nearly…
The animations in that intro are pretty darn cool today, so I can’t imagine how mindblowing they must have been back at (ha) launch of the game. I definitely dig the soundtrack, too, adding it to my playlists.
Good lord, I’d almost forgotten what a real President sounds like when they speak. We’re only four years out and I’d completely forgotten, like it’s been rotted straight out of my brain.
I’m definitely in the opposite camp and I wonder if it depends on which game you played first? I played Demon’s Souls first and it was a revelatory experience, considering I hadn’t played anything else like it before. I was simply floored by the whole concept behind the game, I put hundreds of hours into it. As such,…
The company I work with has the name and details of everyone on my family insurance plan, as well as the information of the lucky beneficiary of my life insurance policy should I kick the bucket while clocked in. That’s almost certainly what was stolen here
I actually prefer when they’re sequential, that way I know roughly how early in the level I messed up. I especially love it when a previously collected object shows up as a ghost object in repeats of the same level, so I have a better idea of where to start looking for the missed thing.
I can see this happening in a game that’s heavy in cosmetics, such as Fortnite. Repeatedly match a player who doesn’t make a lot of skin purchases against all players who are heavily tricked out in paid skins/weapons/whatever. Or games like Overwatch where characters have unique paid skins. Default skinned…
Oh lordy, no it doesn’t. The immediate response to that is always long discourses meant to convince me of all the reasons why I should want kids and how much of a joy it is and that my time is running out and who will take care of my when I’m old, etc.
What’s the over/under on the “new skin” being... the cel shaded style of the original? It was totally intended to be there as a charming nod to the original, right?
I’ve never heard of Eneba before. How safe is it to buy from? Seems to be some mixed opinions on Google, so I’m puzzled.

I was thinking it somehow looked like an unholy mashup between Dorian and Cullen.
Never will there be a time when I’ll say “No thanks” to a chill game in the Pokemon Snap genre.
Oh, this is easy. It’s either Dark Souls or Flower, depending on exactly what kind of day I had. Both games get me in a chill mood and focused to the point where I can’t think of anything else but what I’m doing at the moment, so everything works out.
