“Be careful who you call ugly in middle school.”

Huh. In my childhood picture books the duckling was dark gray with a black bill, just like how they are in real life. Guess it’s up to artistic interpretation, but a cursory google search shows gray/black combo to be the correct coloring.

I would go face-down on that giant flan in a heartbeat. Oh man, that looks so good!

My only take-away from this is that Steam demands an enormous cut from profits. That’s something I did not know before.

To answer your questions:

I didn’t want to be that guy, but... yeah, the pickings are depressingly predictable this season.

That looks cool as hell, I’m so down! I’m not one to say no to a stylish desert.

Uh, no. No, no, no. If a company is paying for access to that data, then you need to assume there’s some anti-employee motivation behind it.

I think the featured artists I like the most are the ones I feel like I can learn from by studying their work. For example, here I can see where every brush stroke is, especially in the tiny little globe diorama pieces, so it’s really helpful to see how a piece came come together. I love this and I love the artist!

It’s strange. I see serious injuries come into the ER like this all the time and I don’t even bat an eye, no effect on me in the slightest. Just buckle down and get to work. But to actually see it happen in action? Yeah, that’s pretty horrific and I don’t think I can eat now.

It’s mostly just useful until you get a backpack you can hang a lantern from and you get something like the Explorer’s lantern. Prior to that point I didn’t have a bunch of skills on my hotbar, so I put the staff on my hotbar alongside the weapon I was using and just switched between the two as necessary.

That stood out to me, too. It actually looks akin to a Dreamworks piece (main character looks a hell of a lot like Jack Frost, and there’s some touches of How to Train Your Dragon with other characters).

You didn’t like Dragon Quest XI’s full 3D-CG?

I remember, as does Pepperidge Farm. And I’m right there with you. It’s really weird that it’s the youngin’s screaming about newfangled technology while us olds just sit back and wait it out.

Agreed. I always built a trench from the water line to a couple yards away before building a castle because, really, what is a castle without a water filled moat?

Thinking of it now I’ve only bought three collector’s editions of games, all of which I have exactly zero regrets. The first was Fallout 3 and I use the lunchbox to bring my lunch to work. The bobblehead is on the dashboard of my car. The second collector’s edition was Persona 4. I wear the t-shirt as a nightgown

I’m so happy that this is compatible with existing saves. I probably would have skipped trying it out beyond a cursory look, otherwise. I’m too attached to my 80+ hour safe file!

I have not, but I will now. Thank you!

There were several times while reading this article that I covered my eyes with my hand and kind of peeked through my fingers, like watching a horror movie. I can’t imagine how this entire development... process must have felt for the people working at Bioware. I’m also a bit shocked by how absolutely awful the Frostbi

I’ve been waiting for this game for soooo loooong and the more I see of it the more I need it now. I loved Legend of Grimrock 1 and 2 and I’ve been starved for games in the same vein since finishing the second one. The release day can’t come soon enough.
