The big deliniator is online play. Gameshark, gamegenie, trainers are perfectly cool in a single player experience imo. Good but not amazing is a great way to put it. Usually they have a head start with getting good but people surpass them quick. Understanding of mechanics can get you a littles ways but time, dedication and execution are what makes people “amazing”

When will people realize just because they made the game doesnt mean they’re necessarily good at it? They have lives and jobs (actually making the games), hardcore gamers don’t and are the ones that have the time to dedicate themselves to getting better at it.
