I was talking about media in general when I said hard-copy. Those can be easily copied, as can photos. Even the best video screenshots would have some artifacting and other issues that need to be cleared it. It just doesn’t seem worth it to me.

I’m confused how one can make a copy of art from a livestream so easily. If it were a photo or hard-copy I could totally understand. I’m glad the copier got what he deserved though.
Well it makes sense they give you such a high cap if it’s basically impossible to reach it. My 50GB “unlimited” plan is 5G with peak speeds around 40MB/s.
Years ago I tried creating a secondary Gmail account and Google asked for a phone number to verify my existence. I only used Google Voice at that time and ironically their own service wasn’t counted as a “real” phone number.
Are you completely blocked from using data if you hit your cap or just slowed? In the states we do get “unlimited” data, but it always says in the fine print they’ll just slow you down once you hit a soft cap. That cap is never higher than 50GB from what I’ve seen.
These remind me of something I’d see at Omega Mart in Vegas. I don’t dislike them but they feel unsettling.
I’ve found something to enjoy in nearly every part of on-screen Star Wars media. I’m sure I’ll probably return to it, but Andor couldn’t keep me interested past mid-way through the first episode. It felt like far too much exposition and setup for me to care. Given the fact that Cassian dies in Rogue One, it feels even…
Well I guess this means I won’t be playing it. Weapon degradation (which can’t be easily modded out) is one thing in games that will almost always make me refuse to play it.
It wouldn’t be the first $70 PS port — FFVII Remake was and still is that price when not on sale
It sounds like he considered it a mercy killing rather than murder. I don’t know though -- it sounds like mental illness is definitely in play here and that can cause real unpredictability.
My TV is 40" and even on my desk maybe 2 1/2 feet away 1080p feels fine to me
My main monitor is also my TV and I’m sure I’ll upgrade it to 4K at some point too. The resolution boost really only interests me when it comes to things like movies or PC multitasking though.
I’m one of the odd ones who’s perfectly fine sticking with 1080p at 60fps forever.
I almost exclusively play the career mode in the NBA 2K games. Last year broke me. Between the weird cruise ship setting to the (for whatever reason not skippable) team practice between games, I just lost interest. Just give me the option to play actual games with some kind of story and goals to work toward and I’m…
Unwilling? No, but unable, due to the still high price. However, that’s still not really relevant as Sony just didn’t announce anything interesting to me. Nintendo did, and yes, I think online play in Goldeneye a big deal.
I’m “old” myself (40) and the core Nintendo experience is the most entertaining in gaming overall, in my opinion
Nintendo revealed something for nearly every demographic and a ton for their base audience — Zelda, Pikmin, Kirby, Bayonetta, Mario Kart, Xenoblade Chronicles, Fire Emblem, etc. They’re also finally giving everyone who’s waited for 25 years Goldeneye, with online co-op!
While God of War is a big game for Sony, I agree with you that showing it off again just felt unnecessary. The people who’ll play it already knew before this. I’m on the fence over the original game. The only other “big” game they showed was Yakuza, which I also don’t really enjoy. The showcase wasn’t a failure, but…
Meanwhile I live in a metro area of about 1.3 million people and Dunkin didn’t survive here either, dipping in and back out of the city in under 10 years a while back. We don’t even have a Krispy Kreme or any other major chain donut shops. People just love the local places too much.
If rumors of the Showtime service are plausible, I can totally understand why they’d be doing this bundle now. The company can see how many Paramount+ subscribers are also interested in Showtime content.
