What kind of PC are you using that you’re having that happen?

A parody doesn’t automatically make it worse than what it parodies. The movie has a high likelihood of being terrible, but I don’t think the idea is completely worth tossing aside.

I had the original side-scrolling Duke Nukem as a kid. As for the movie, it should absolutely lean into 80s tropes and camp. Trying to make Duke a serious character is a massive mistake.

If this movie does end up getting done and LGR doesn’t at the very least have a cameo, I’ll be massively disappointed. As for my feelings about the movie itself, I’m totally onboard for this in concept. Set it in the 80s and fill it with all the tropes of action movies from the time.

There’s a major difference between the two examples you gave. Blizzard knows it’s actively exploiting some people. Game devs don’t put guns into games to profit from real gun violence.

It’s free in that there’s no cost to play, how am I wrong?

The good thing about Flashpoint is that WB could just set any future Flash content in a different universe and ditch Ezra

The PS5 version of FFVII that eventually came to PC was $70. There’s no way TLOU going to be less then $60. I also think it’s entirely worth it. If you want it for $20 it’s still available on PS4.

It’s free, so I assume that’s why you haven’t bought it

By keeping the game active, instead of just letting servers rot

If there’s no company structure, it also means there’s no one who can be blamed when the product inevitably goes boom. They’re counting on suckers to “invest” or whatever.

The game is called Abandoned and it sounds like that was the plan for development all along as well

Good for the employees for sticking up for themselves. Why where the doors wide open though if everyone had quit?

I’ve played several Street Fighter games, going back to the original release of SFII. I don’t really enjoy them though, but it’s not necessarily because of a lack of single-player elements. I don’t enjoy them because I don’t enjoy fighting games. Adding an open-world isn’t going to suddenly change that, especially if

What about my comments was “wussy”?

Your statement doesn’t say “felt the complete opposite” to me. The gameplay and combat looks like it might be fun, but that doesn’t mean it looks interesting. It looks very generic fantasy.  You can argue that it went way too far including things like cars in FFXV, but this feels like it’s going in the absolute

It’s been 16 years since FF has gone full fantasy. The trailer looks great technically, but I’m underwhelmed by the gameplay. It seems to be a mix of hack and slash and Soul-like tactical combat, and just doesn’t look interesting.

Why does SF need an open world? If Capcom wanted to give any fighting game an open world it should be Final Fight. That makes far more sense.

Where are you getting Godzilla vibes from FFXVI?

Don't just start a game with random map elements and opponents. Make a custom game so you know what to expect. That way you can learn the map, and opponents on your own terms. You can also turn off barbarians to give yourself a less chaotic experience.
