Sounds to me like it wasn’t an intentional scam, but a scam nonetheless. The devs had no idea what they were doing, were overwhelmed with problems and ran instead of trying to actually fix things. They should have already known about fees, server capacity, and the complete uselessness of their product.

I 100% despise the gameplay of the Souls series because of the difficulty. Games like Jedi Fallen Order show a difficulty slider can work for the genre. Why From Software seems to think it compromises the vision is beyond me, and this interview just feels like the director like the director is gatekeeping. Repeatedly…

A survival game? How original. This is sure to get gamers interested in the title and get them to completely forget how awful Blizzard is.

It was awesome to finally have an episode of this show I loved. I just wish it had actually been an episode of the show it claimed to be. The Mandalorian is superior in every way.

Meanwhile, in GTAO, it’s almost impossible to join a session with a friend immediately. That will probably never be fixed, but who cares when that game is still extremely popular.

I’ve tried playing Destiny 2 a few times. Having not started at the very beginning though I’ve always felt like I’ve missed out on a lot. Add in the fact that the game runs in seasons where content is added and removed, and I just can’t enjoy it.

I still think GTA5, while being offensive and crude, wasn’t so over the top about it. It’s more subtle humor, which generally takes more thought to understand.

Well, I don’t think things like using giant sex toys as weapons is funny these days. It’s just cringe. I was 31 in 2013, and aside from growing in personality, I think much of society has changed as well.

How many Black players are in the NHL? White players aren’t interesting to people like this.

I thought SR4 was hilarious too... when it was released in 2013. I tried playing SR3 recently and even it was too goofy for me to find enjoyable. 

I’m honestly leaning in the other direction. Saints Row 3 and even more so 4 have extremely dated humor. If the reboot can remain humorous without going over the top, I think it will age much better. GTA 5 has some problematic humor. It has aged much better, though, because the humor is generally much more subtle.
