@We-R-Rejoicing: It just annoys me how people expect Apple to literally revolutionize the market every time they release ANYTHING, but with any other manufacturer they are celebrated as soon as they do one single thing right, even when their products have a lot of issues.

All improvements are incremental. The only way for it not to be incremental is if it were powered by air and the OS lived in your brain. Comments like his are very annoying.

@Gonzie: A little icon with the number inside it could show in the bar, but the larger bar would only show on the home screen. In-app, notifications would slide up from the bottom much like the app-switcher pane, from there you could tap it to be taken to the app or press an x on the right of it.
