I haven't read the book but this is how I've always interpreted the casting of Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer, and Denise Richards as characters with the respective last names of Rico, Flores and Ibanez.

There's a wikipedia list of time loop movies but based on the descriptions, most are just time travel movies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi… One that seems like it should be included but isn't is 2015's "The Final Girls." Of the three not-Groundhog Days coming out this year, I can't help but be interested in "Happy

I've enjoyed restaurants that have been on his show but I won't bother to watch the show itself.

There must be a Rob's Sandwiches across the street from every Johnny Garlics.

Booo!

Yes. He's first called Roberto. Then it says he's got his "SUNSPOT ABILITIES" and then Sunspot is used as his name. Then "Citizen V, Roberto."

When my wife first saw it she asked me "Why is white-as-a-sheet Casper Van Diem named 'Johnny Rico' and growing up in South America?" I noted it wasn't poor casting, or they didn't think to rename the character, it was because in the movie's prehistory, white people had pushed everyone else out and was a bad thing.

In & Out is dated for most of the country but probably still relevant for others. I think it captured the time really well and the characters in the town all feel very real. It's funny throughout and I'll always choke up when the townspeople stand up to support Howard at the end.

But it worked so well in that little segment ("I'll get a motorcycle" "you need a helmet.") that it made sense to expand it. Plus, it was a fun episode. Cockroach has an aside in the middle of things at one point when he says "this is fun, we never do anything like this in my family."

Or maybe he just saw The Royal Tenenbaums:
Royal: But if I did… you wouldn't be able to do anything about it, would you?
Henry Sherman: You don't think so?
Royal: No, I don't.
Henry Sherman: Listen, Royal, if you think you can just march in here…
Royal: You wanna talk some jive? I'll talk some jive. I'll talk some jive

Shit, Trump doesn't like the White House. He's not going to like Camp David. And he can't charge people to sit near him there.

Oh, wow! Windows. I don't think I can afford this place.
