That depends. If manufacturer pays 3 hours labor to fix it and techs can do it in 2 or 1 than you can technically do 8 3 hour jobs in 8 hours.

If you take out $1000 exhaust, $6000 transmission, $8000 engine, $5000 catalytic converters, $200 radiator, $200 battery from a $25000 car to make an EV that does not use any of these expensive, complicated, moving parts then those EVs should have been for sale for $12000 for years already

My GTI has a transaxle and it does not need any fans to stop it from overheating.
