I have a USB charger next to the couch for my phone so I use the 12' cord that came with MS rechargeable battery for xbox joystick so I don’t trip over it. But its that way so I don’t pull on the cable with my legs with full force and make the joystick fly and break on impact.

IMO MP3s past 256kbps sound as good as CD and they are the worst for sound vs file size. AAC and others are even better with smaller file sizes.
