This looks like a really old patent... the iPhone pictured is the 1st generation. Most likely they've abandoned the patent.

@Birk Anders: It's like the Antenna problem with the iPhone. They weren't realistically rating the performance before, and now they are. You'll see a dip in the specs, but hey: they're the same thing, really.

I'm disappointed that the 13" models have Integrated Graphics. Very disappointed. Last year's Nvida chips were nice enough, but intel graphics? I've not had great experiences; I hope Apple didn't screw this one up.

This is disgusting. Why would anyone need to do this? There are some cases, most likely, in which this seems like the only way, but I don't believe that this is really necessary.

I hate Linux's almost nonexistent support for games, and Wine doesn't count because I want Halo. But, that's not the thing I would change. I would change the weird glitches when I start up and for some reason my status bar icons are missing?

My friend's been using CM7's nightly builds for a few weeks. The screen on/off animations are killer. If I had an android phone I'd use CM7 just for that!

Root it! I'm sure there's a custom ROM you'll like. My friend uses a nightly of CyanogenMod7 (Gingerbread, of course) on his EVO and he loves it. If you don't mind not having 4G, CM6 is a stable release.
