That’s more on the carriers than Google. I came to Android from Windows Phone, where we got tons of software updates, but not hardware updates. For me, and this is my personal opinion, there is nothing in M that I absolutely NEED, plenty of wants, but nothing crucial. I am using a OnePlus One with COS12 and it works

That’s mobile phones in general (See Apple and WP). The fact that the 5 is still getting updates is actually pretty impressive. The N7 will probably get it eventually, just not the preview.

And more importantly our liver!

I switched away from chrome for this reason. I have started using a variant of Firefox called Pale Moon. It is an open sourced variant that is focused on efficiency and cutting the un needed bloat out of the browser. So far I am pretty pleased with the performance.

As a Registered Dietitian, and a food service director for public schools in rural Kentucky, that the new guidelines for school lunch are not terrible like the #ThanksMichelleObama tweets/instagrams are showing. Are they perfect? No, but they are a step in the right direction.

I feel you. I had a Lumia 920, loved the OS, but it just lacked some key 3rd party apps. If the apps did come out, they were gimped compared to their iOS and Android counterparts. Also, not to mention that there are more MS apps for Android and iOS than there is for WP. I eventually went to a Oneplus One with COS12,

Holy shit, 18g of fiber? You would be shitting diamonds after eating that....

I would love to see a Windows post like this. I get that Speccy does this, but it is not near as sleek as this. Rainmeter can get the looks, but it can be difficult to configure and doesn’t offer all of these features.

I meant evil as in Walmart kills small businesses, bad for environment, pays low wages, etc....

Georgetown / Cynthiana :-)

I know its evil, and a little different than "cash back", but the Walmart app Savings Catcher feature is really good. You just scan the QR code at the bottom of the receipt and it will credit you if it finds a better price from a local competitor. It compares my purchases to Kroger Grocery, Target, and Meijer (All are

Kentucky fan here, and I agree mostly with what you say. However, I think the majority of coaches, even they arent making millions (most make hundreds of thousands) are guilty of the same thing, and to demonize him for being the most successful is a little unfair. I am at least happy you mentioned the hypocrisy of

Probably old school then. I have only been an RD since 2011 and I can tell you that the feild has changed remarkably in that short of time. As more research comes out we understand concepts differently, and as a professional you must take it upon yourself to be abreast of these concepts. Needless to say, many don't do

As an RD, I can whole heartedly tell you that Dietitian you saw is either A) Old school, who entered the field in its infancy, or B) Terrible at their job.

Headline should read: "Why Your Doctor Isn't a Nutritional Resource". Also, not one mention of a Registered Dietitian in the article....seriously?

I did check the bill and I am paying 6.00 less (thats what the modem fee was). I didn't ask for a package change either.

That possible, though at first when I got the modem I thought it was bad. I was getting lots of drops. I was on the phone with support on and off for a week (I figured they would notice then). They sent a tech to my house and determined that there was a lot of noise on the outlet in the room I used. I moved the modem

I live in Kentucky, and pay for 10mb internet service from TWC. Once I bought this modem, my speedtest.net report shows 23mbps down, 3mbs up, which is the next tear package. There must be some sort of hardware throttling being done with their rented modems, because I didnt upgrade my package.

I highly doubt it. It will probably be similar to how they did Win8. They offered the upgrade discounted for 40 bucks for the first year, and then raised the price to the standard price model after that.
