Goddamit I love Mike Polk. His 'letter to the Browns season ticket office' video is awesome.

As a Browns fan I offer you zero sympathy and hope your team burns in the most fiery way possible.
The "old guy" who seems "creeperish" has created hundreds of iconic images in his lifetime and accomplished much good.
My two favourite non-sports car type reviews were Hammond's "testing...through the crucible...of motorsport", where he'd figure out what people carrier was the best, or what RV could also be a track car, or which is the best taxi from around the world, etc. Those were common cars, and they were GREAT. The other was…
Yeah, well they just plain stopped having car reviews. Some episodes are entirely some bullshit adventure mixed in with a race between a Unicorn and a Peugot...across the OCEAN. The old show used to have a lot of interesting show downs between various cars as well as longer term tests. The wacky stunts were just…
They're trying too hard some times and its becoming a little too unbelievable.
Agreed on that count. It has seriously declined in recent years to the point where if I see it, I will watch it, but if I miss it, I wouldn't be missing anything. It's actually gotten pretty stale and maybe sending Clarkson off to the pasture might do the show some good.
It's sadly true. Re-watch stuff from a decade ago, and this past year's offerings. It's like a panto show now, a caricature.
Watching it play out here in the UK reminds me of last year, the Opie and Anthony show. Huge backlash, tweets and petitions, promises that Sirius Radio would die within months if Anthony was fired. And lo and behold, a year later, the show is still on the air, the channel was renamed in Opie's honour, and Sirius is…
Let's just forget that Top Gear has already been recast once... May wasn't an original member of the show. Either way Top Gear has been getting worse for years as it gets more and more scripted and less and less realistic.
No. The BBC's model is the single reason why Top Gear was any good at all — They could rip on manufacturers without fear of losing advertising revenue. You can't do that here.
I pretty much agree. I've watched Top Gear since the original show, and these days I mostly can't be bothered. If it happens to be on when I'm watching TV then sure, but I don't go out of my way to watch it any longer. Seems like most of the people getting their panties in a bunch about this and vociferously defending…
TG hasn't been worth watching in years anyway.
Even if topgear went to another network (which is doubtful since BBC owns the show since 2009) clarkson wont be able to say whatever he wants because of advertising. There are no advertisers on BBC so he can say whatever to whoever he wants, which wont be the case if he go to Sky or ITV. He knows this and this will be…
There is no way Clarkson could sue anyone for anything. He punched a coworker that is ASSAULT. If he is fired it will be for cause. He'd be laughed out of court.
I love Top Gear and I love Clarkson, but he fucking punched a coworker. That is absolutely grounds for firing, in any organization. I hope Top Gear stays, but I won't be angry if it doesn't.
Please vanish from the public eye Mr. Clarkson. You appear to be a terrible human being.
Really? And you know this how?
Clarkson has been becoming a caricature of himself for at least five years. I think we could all agree that maybe a different perspective wouldn't be a bad thing.
